The money which was donated was raised from the Crematorium Metal Recycling Scheme .
A letter recently received from SSAFA by the crematorium stated:
"A much belated thank you for your incredibly kind donation of £1,500.00 to the Hampshire Branch of SSAFA the Armed Forces charity received last Monday evening in Eastleigh. It was lovely to meet Lisa and it was fantastic to see 3 other charities benefit as we did. The money for SSAFA will be put to immediate use to help those from the Military Family most in need on the way to regaining their independence and dignity”.
