Wessex Vale Crematorium re-opens as a funeral ‘SuperVenue’

Wessex Vale Crematorium has re-opened as a funeral SuperVenue, offering bereaved families the chance to personalise their loved one’s service to unprecedented levels.

It temporarily closed in the middle of last month for a two-week renovation during which time its chapel was fitted with state-of-the-art technology that enables funerals to be more uniquely personal than ever before.

Automatic blinds, new lighting and a special canvas, which takes up the whole of the front wall inside the chapel, have been installed.

From now on, mourners attending a service at Wessex Vale Crematorium can be greeted by their loved one’s name and a cherished photo displayed on external welcome screens, setting the tone for the service ahead.

Inside the chapel, a beautifully-cureated theme will be projected onto the entire front wall – canvas – accompanied by harmoniously coordinated soundscapes and lighting.

There is a range of canvas themes to choose from to reflect the life of the person being remembered.
