Focusing on father figures at Wessex Vale Crematorium

Wessex Vale Crematorium is inviting families to remember fathers and father-figures next month and has a number of special ways to help them do just that.

On Father’s Day, Sunday 18 June, people are being invited to visit the crematorium between 10.30am and 12noon for a moment of contemplation it its chapel, where reflective music will be playing.

Visitors will be able to light candles in memory of their loved ones and place a personal message onto a wooden heart which they can either leave at their loved one’s memorial, place elsewhere within the crematorium grounds, or take home with them.

They can also use the paper and envelopes provided to write personal messages to their loved ones which can then be placed in the Letters to Heaven memorial post box.

As Father’s Day is often a time when many people are thinking more intently about their loved ones and look for ways of remembering them longer term, families can also take advantage of a very special offer.

The crematorium is offering 10% off all new memorial purchases, including their personalisation (if purchased in the same transaction) between 1st June and 16th July 2023.
